Ring Die Pellet Mill Disassembly: Simplified Guide
Key Steps
Fill the pellet mill's die holes with oily material before disassembly.
Loosen clamping bolts on the pellet mill's cutter base, then move the cutter up.
Open the pellet mill's main machine door, remove feed hopper bolts with an Allen wrench, and take off the hopper.
Remove the pellet mill's gap adjustment block. Adjust the pellet mill's pressure rollers to keep their outer surface away from the ring die's inner wall.
Detach the clamping screen between the pellet mill's ring die and connecting sleeve.
The pellet mill's ring die is large and heavy: Use an overhead crane to lift it (prevent falling when the screen is removed). Pry it open if tightly connected.
