Feeding Method: Wood pellet mills use a horizontal die (opening upward) – light wood chips enter vertically, then evenly pressed by rotating rollers. Feed pellet mills have a vertical die, with materials feeding top-down.
Pressing Mode: Wood pellet mills: Rotating rollers + fixed die (no secondary pellet crushing). Feed pellet mills: Rotating die + fixed rollers (high-speed, high output).
Operation: Wood pellet mills have vertical rollers with large cast steel bearings (no pressure load, durable, long service life). Feed pellet mills generate high temperature during extrusion.
Structure: Wood pellet mills: Open-top (good heat dissipation) + bag filter + automatic lubrication. Feed pellet mills: Sealed pelleting chamber.
