Finished Product Handling and Storage Issues
Collision during conveyance often leads to fine powder. Worn elevator buckets or improper chute angles can cause pellets to generate powder due to impact and friction as they move—such as falling from heights. To fix this, replace elevator buckets with wear-resistant ones and reduce the elevator’s speed. Adjust the chute angles appropriately and install buffer plates (like rubber pads) to minimize impact.
A humid storage environment is another key issue. High humidity in the warehouse makes pellets absorb moisture, which softens them. When stacked, these softened pellets are prone to breaking under pressure. The solution is to keep the warehouse well-ventilated and dry, or use a dehumidifier. Additionally, seal pellet packages promptly after production to avoid prolonged exposure to air.
