Conveying Equipment for Wet Sawdust After Crushing
1. Chain Plate Conveyor
Advantages: Sturdy chain plate structure, suitable for conveying wet and sticky materials (avoids clogging). Ideal for large-particle sawdust (e.g., incompletely refined wood blocks after crushing). Maximum conveying capacity up to 300m³/h; best for horizontal or small-angle incline (≤15°) conveying.
Precautions: Regularly clean gaps between chain plates to prevent sawdust residue; optional scraper device for auxiliary discharging.
2. Screw Conveyor
Advantages: Closed conveying reduces dust emission. Suitable for short-distance (≤20m) horizontal or slight incline (≤20°) conveying. Screw blades can be customized with wear-resistant materials (e.g., manganese steel) for hard sawdust.
Precautions: Long-distance conveying may cause material compaction; control filling rate ≤60%. Wet sawdust tends to stick to screw blades—regular maintenance required.
3. Belt Conveyor
Advantages: Large conveying capacity (up to 500m³/h); suitable for medium-to-long-distance (≤100m) horizontal conveying.
Precautions: Regularly check for belt deviation. Wet sawdust may cause belt slipping—anti-slip rubber belts are recommended.
