Pellet mill requires overhaul under the following conditions
Severe wear of key components: Die wear (wall thickness reduction ≥2mm), excessive pressure roller wear, bearing damage, etc.
Significant performance decline: Pellet forming rate <98%, obvious drop in production efficiency, or abnormal increase in energy consumption.
Frequent malfunctions: Die hole blockage rate ≥20%, or frequent shutdowns due to component damage.
Reaching operating cycle: Cumulative operating hours ≥1500h, or total feed production ≥1000 tons.
Regularly inspect wear and blockage of pressure rollers and dies, and monitor operating parameters like motor current, gearbox temperature, and machine noise to assess the pellet mill's condition. Conduct overhaul when multiple indicators are abnormal or key components reach wear limits, avoiding further equipment damage and production losses.
