New Biomass Pellet Mill Break-in Period Precautions
When using a newly purchased moulin à pellets de biomasse, issues such as unstable output and premature die wear may occur in the initial stages. The following tips will help you navigate the break-in period and extend the lifespan of your moulin à pellets:
Run the new machine unloaded for 3-5 days, operating it for 2-3 hours daily. Gradually increase the operating time. Never operate at full load directly to avoid premature wear of core components (pressure rollers, dies).
During the break-in period, check the lubrication system daily and replenish lubricating oil as needed. Pay close attention to the temperature of the motor, reducer, and bearings. The temperature should not exceed 70℃. If any abnormality is found, stop the machine immediately.
During the break-in period, feed material gradually, controlling the feeding speed to 50%-70% of the rated capacity. Observe the pellet forming effect and gradually adjust the gap between the die and pressure rollers to avoid clogging.
