2. If the pellet surface is smooth but too hard, this may indicate excessive ring die compression; reduce the die compression ratio.
3. If the pellet surface is not very smooth and the pulverization rate is high, this may indicate insufficient ring die compression, resulting in high strain and compression holes.
4. If the pellet moisture content is high, production output is low and blockages are common. Increase the pellet mill's tempering temperature accordingly; higher temperatures help improve material maturation.
5. If there are axial or radial cracks and a high pulverization rate, yield is low. This may be because the pellet mill's cutter is positioned too far apart and blunt, causing the pellets to be shortened or torn rather than cut.
