Material matching: The material of the roller is mostly carbon steel or alloy structural steel, which needs to be matched with the hardness of the ring die (the hardness of the roller is slightly lower by 5-10HRC) to reduce mutual wear and give priority to protecting the more expensive ring die.
Surface type selection:
Toothed roller: Strong material gripping ability, suitable for materials with high fiber content and easy to slip (such as straw and forage), to avoid "idling";
Concave hole roller: More uniform extrusion, suitable for fine raw materials (such as livestock and poultry feed), conducive to smooth and firm particles, and reduce the powdering rate.
