Environmental Check: Ensure the installation site is dry and well-ventilated; keep away from accumulated dust, corrosive gases, and flammable/explosive substances. Control ambient temperature at -15℃~40℃ (adjust per manual for special-condition motors); relative humidity ≤90% (no condensation).

Foundation Inspection: The foundation must be flat, solid, and with load-bearing capacity matching the motor’s weight (refer to the specified foundation load in the manual). Foundation flatness error ≤0.1mm/m to prevent vibration from foundation deformation during motor operation.

Equipment Check: After unpacking, verify that the motor model and specifications (voltage, power, speed) match the design requirements. Check for no bumps/cracks on the motor exterior, no seizure or abnormal noise in bearings, and intact, non-oxidized terminals in the junction box.

Wiring Rules:

Wire per the motor nameplate (voltage and connection mode: star/delta). Ensure the power cable’s cross-sectional area matches the motor’s rated current.

Tighten terminals to avoid overheating from loose connections. Reliably connect the grounding wire (yellow-green dual-color) to the motor’s grounding terminal; grounding resistance ≤4Ω.

Seal the junction box against water (add extra waterproof gaskets for outdoor motors) to prevent short circuits from moisture.
