Ensure the ring die is accurately placed at the designated position of the pellet mill, with no deviation or tilt.
Take one press block, pre-thread the matching screws into its screw holes (ensure smooth threading without jamming). Align it with the press block mounting position on the pellet mill, lower it slowly to make it fully fit and level (avoid warping or gaps).
Strictly follow the "symmetry principle": after installing the first press block, install the second at the corresponding position on the opposite side of the pellet mill. Repeat sequentially according to the required number of press blocks to ensure uniform force on all blocks and prevent ring die deviation from unbalanced force.
Once all press blocks are initially in place, use a torque wrench to tighten the screws one by one. Apply force evenly to ensure consistent torque for each block, so the blocks are closely fit and securely locked with the pellet mill and ring die.
Insufficient tightening will cause press blocks to loosen during pellet mill operation, leading to ring die displacement and potential serious risk of die cracking. Strict control over the tightening step is required.
