Maintenance Methods for Pellet Mill Press Roller
Hard impurities in raw materials, overly dry and hard materials, improper gap between roller and die, insufficient lubrication, poor wear-resistant material, and long-term overload operation will cause rapid wear of the press roller. Methods to solve the wear of the pellet mill press roller:
Check the raw material hardness and avoid feeding materials that are too hard or contain stones, metal, or sand.
Ensure uniform feeding and prevent overloading or idling for a long time.
Adjust the gap between the press roller and ring die properly to avoid excessive pressure.
Use high-quality press rollers and ring dies with good wear resistance.
Add lubricating grease on time and maintain good lubrication.
Clean the inside of the pellet mill regularly to remove impurities and debris.
