Pellet mill bearing overheating troubleshooting
Bearings are the core transmission components of biomass pellet mills. What should be done if the pellet mill bearings overheat during the production process?
Causes of overheating: Aged or insufficient grease; improper installation clearance; dust intrusion; overload operation; bearing damage. Diagnosis methods: Check temperature (stop machine if it's hot to the touch above 70℃), listen for abnormal noises, and check for oil leaks or dust accumulation.
Solutions: Clean the bearings; replace with high-temperature lithium-based composite grease and replenish grease as needed; reinstall and correct the fit clearance; replace seals and clean dust; reduce feed or control speed to avoid overload; replace with bearings of the same model.
