
A hammer mill generates massive heat during high-speed crushing operations. Long-term overheating operation of the hammer mill will accelerate component aging and reduce crushing efficiency. Ultra-dry fine powder produced at high temperature contains excessive dust. When conveyed to the pellet mill, such unqualified materials will destroy pellet forming structure and greatly reduce the compaction degree of pellet mill finished pellets.
Poor ventilation and heat dissipation, over-dry raw materials, long-term full-load continuous operation, and insufficient bearing lubrication that causes frictional overheating are the main causes of equipment high temperature.
Improve the ventilation and heat dissipation conditions of the equipment workshop, properly adjust the moisture content of raw materials, and avoid no-load idling and dry grinding. Regularly replenish high-temperature lubricating grease for bearings, reasonably control staged production load, stabilize internal crushing temperature, and maintain qualified material status for subsequent pelleting.
