Stable and consistent feeding is essential for the normal operation of a wood chipper. The wood chipper cannot maintain continuous cutting performance once feed blockage occurs at the inlet. Severe material jamming inside the wood chipper will lead to stalling, sudden load spikes and production shutdown. Interrupted material supply will cause frequent no-load operation and unstable load conditions on the pellet mill, seriously affecting the continuous and stable pelleting efficiency of the pellet mill.

Excessively long and irregular wood materials, adhered wet raw materials, insufficient feed roller pressure, and residual debris inside the cutting chamber are the main causes of feed blockage in the wood chipper.

During daily production, standardize material feeding to prevent ultra-long materials from entering the cutting chamber, and control raw material moisture content to avoid adhesion. Regularly clean residual debris inside the wood chipper feed chamber and properly adjust feed roller pressure to ensure smooth and continuous material conveying. Effective daily maintenance keeps the wood chipper operating stably and maintains balanced material supply for the entire production line.
