Hammer mills are widely used in material crushing across various industries and are a core component of pellet mills.
High material moisture content, excessively fast feeding, excessive gap between the hammer and the screen, or the presence of impurities/hard metal lumps in the feed (which can indirectly lead to poor pelleting and poor finished product quality in subsequent pellet mills).
Solving problems with the hammer mill：
Material pretreatment: Reduce humidity, remove debris, and install magnets at the feed inlet to intercept metallic impurities, preventing them from entering the pellet mill and damaging the mold.
Control the feeding rhythm: Match the speed regulation device to the machine's processing capacity to ensure uniform particle size after crushing, guaranteeing efficient pelleting.
