Maintenance and troubleshooting of dust removal systems for pellet mills
The normal operation of a pellet mill is inseparable from a dust collection system. Proper maintenance of the dust collection system can effectively protect the pellet mill and ensure workshop safety.
Daily Maintenance: Check the dust removal device every shift, clean the ash hopper weekly to prevent dust accumulation, and check the filter bags monthly, replacing any damaged ones promptly.
Common Troubleshooting: Insufficient suction: Check for air leaks in the ducts or blockages in the filter bags; adjust the dust removal frequency. Poor ash discharge: Check for stuck ash discharge valves; gently tap the ash hopper to clear any blockages.
