The pellet mill is a core power-consuming piece of machine in the pelleting workshop. Much of the energy waste comes from improper daily operation and maintenance. Doing the following things can ensure stable production of the pellet mill and save electricity.
Stable and uniform feeding speed prevents material buildup, overload, and prolonged idling.
Adjust the gap between the pressure rollers appropriately to reduce mechanical friction resistance.
Match the ring die compression ratio as needed to reduce extrusion load.
Regularly lubricate to prevent component jamming and increased power consumption.
Clean die holes promptly to maintain efficient pelleting.
Reduce frequent start-stop cycles for stable, continuous, and energy-efficient production.
