Pellet mill spindle seal failure: solutions and maintenance points
Failure of the main shaft seal of a pellet mill can easily lead to oil leakage and dust intrusion, exacerbating component wear and affecting the normal operation of the pellet mill. The following are specific solutions and maintenance points.
Solution: Replace with suitable high-quality seals, correct spindle runout and coaxiality, add suitable grease, strengthen dust removal and clean dust from sealing areas.
Maintenance points: During daily inspections, focus on checking the sealing parts to promptly detect abnormalities such as oil leaks and dust accumulation; regularly check the wear of the seals and replace aged or damaged parts in advance; avoid prolonged high-temperature operation of the spindle to reduce the aging rate of the seals.
