A stable operating load is essential for the pellet mill to maintain consistent production capacity. Frequent load fluctuations on the pellet mill will cause unstable main motor current and disordered extrusion pressure. Long-term unstable operation of the pellet mill not only reduces overall output but also easily triggers overload protection and emergency shutdowns. Variable load conditions result in inconsistent pellet density, cracked pellets and fragmented surfaces, seriously deteriorating finished pellet appearance and hardness.

The main causes of pellet mill load fluctuation include unstable feeding speed, inconsistent raw material moisture content, mismatched die compression ratio, and uneven wear and stress on pressed rollers.

During formal production, operators must maintain steady and uniform feeding, ensure qualified and consistent material quality from the drying and crushing processes, regularly inspect pressed roller gaps and wear conditions, and calibrate die parameters in a timely manner. Stabilizing the operating status of the pellet mill ensures continuous production of uniform, dense and high-quality pellets, maintaining stable and efficient operation of the entire production line.
